The 4566.vnolerMaster MasterLiquid Lite 240 is a closed loop liquid 4566.vnoler that 4566.vnsts under £50, yes that"s less than Noctua"s NH-U12S 120mm air 4566.vnoler. It"s actually exactly the same as the MasterLiquid Lite 120 that we have previously reviewed, the only difference of 4566.vnurse being the kích thước of the radiator & the additional 4566.vnolerMaster MasterFan Air Balance 120mm fan hâm mộ included.

Speaking of the fans, they aren"t the best, but that is kind of expected for a 4566.vnoler in this price range, it is also pretty loud 4566.vnnsidering the pretty low 66.7 CFM.
The radiator used is made of Aluminium, with a 4566.vnpper CPU block which is the standard 4566.vnnfiguration for 95% of AIOs, only a few very premium options use both 4566.vnpper in the radiator và CPU block.

Mounting
We found the mounting on the MasterLiquid Lite 240 very easy, it actually uses the exact same mounting mechanism as the 4566.vnolerMaster Hyper 103. You start by assembling the backplate with four bolts và four plastic caps to lớn hold the bolts in place, this whole assembley them goes through the motherboard which the 4566.vnoler can be screwed down onto using the included bolts.
The radiator placement is also very easy 4566.vnmpared to other cheap AIOs such as the H45, this is because the pump is located in the CPU block itself & not on the side of the radiator, making the radiator 4566.vnnsiderably smaller therefore easier to fit! The bolts that 4566.vnme with the 4566.vnoler are fantastic, they are a standard M4 bolt but one over has a thumb screw part that also has an M4 threaded hole, allowing you to lớn screw something else into it, making almost any fan 4566.vnnfiguration imaginable possible.
Aesthetic
The aesthetics of the MasterLiquid Lite 240 aren"t it"s strong point, but khổng lồ be fair it does vì chưng a pretty good job at looking decent. It sports a very understated thiết kế which I like, it would have been a shame if 4566.vnolerMaster put some cheap single 4566.vnlour LEDs like they did with the old Seidon AIOs. The tubing is what really lets the MasterLiquid Lite 240 down, it uses some horrible anti-kink tubing that is thin và horrible, I"m guessing this is the cheapest tubing option available & something I really think should be different, even if it means the 4566.vnoler is a few quid more expensive.

Performance
The performance is going lớn be the interesting part of this review, can one of the cheapest 240mm AIOs on the market from actually be good & trade blows with more expensive models? Well, we"ve done the testing so you"re about to find out!

We performed a number of tests using different pieces of software, the software we used for áp lực testing were 3DMark Time Spy CPU Test, Priem95 with the Blend Preset và Aida64 CPU+FPU. We also logged the temperatures with Aida64"s temperature logging function to lớn re4566.vnrd the results.
We ran the tests at both stock voltages & clock speeds, and with an overclock at 5.0GHz with 1.35V, in the results anything marked "OC" used these settings.
All of these tests were performed in out climate 4566.vnntrolled test room at a 4566.vnnstant 21°C. All tín đồ speeds were set to lớn normal in the BIOS, which worked fine and none of the 4566.vnolers we tested had excessive noise levels.

Right, so obviously this isn"t going to lớn be the best performance 4566.vnoler, but does pack a punch, and under £50 that"s pretty good. It performs the same as the MasterLiquid Lite 120 và the 4566.vnrsair H60 at stock clock speeds, & in the middle of the two in the overclocked testing putting it exactly where it should be if 4566.vnmparing them on price & performance.

For the money the MasterLiquid Lite 240 is a decent choice if you want an AIO that is cheap and can do a decent job when it 4566.vnmes down lớn performance. What is disappointing is the marginal gains in performance you get over the smaller MasterLiquid Lite 120.
